El Buen Samaritano Migrante Ministry lead by Pastor Lorenzo Ortiz provides relief to those seeking asylum in the United States since 2019. Pastor Ortiz runs five shelters as of 2021. One is located in Saltillo Coahuila, MX., three in Nuevo Laredo, Tamps. MX, and one in Laredo, TX. El Buen Samaritano Migrante provides a temporary shelter, transportation, and practical assistance to asylum seekers from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Cuba, and other countries. This assistance is provided as these families await court appearances.
